Noama the sustainable artist
Created by female British artist Donna Baitey. Inspired by the culture, food, design and architecture of foreign lands. With her art she wishes to transport you to those lands where the sun shines and slow moments with nature are embraced.
The work is graphic and minimalist yet, since most of it is hand-painted, it has an imperfect beauty. The type of imperfection that we seek out on holiday, whilst away from the unrealistic pursuit of perfection at home. Sun-drenched colours, windswept beaches, a bumpy stone wall in a Spanish casa – all of these things bring joy in a slow and meaningful way. Noama art aims to have a similar effect on your state of mind.
The common theme that runs through the artwork is a kind of tropical minimalism. Wherever your home is in the world, you’ll be able to create the feeling of an inspirational trip to Sri Lanka, Baja California, Palm Springs or Andalusia with some Noama art.
Designed with the planet in mind, Noama art is created with vegan gouache paint, sustainable materials and found papers. Art prints are on natural Hahnemühle Bamboo paper and are printed to order in London. Read more about our sustainability values here.
