Drivers spend several months on the road, and their vehicles are more like a home, with spectacular interior and exterior decoration. The colourful messages and paintings include pictures of gods and goddesses, names of family members, Bollywood stars, humorous punchlines, Indian landscapes and the most magnificent hand-painted typography. Being on the road in India can be busy, smoggy and tiring but the sight of a truck phrase combined with the elaborate horn never fails to bring a smile to your face. I hope to do the same with this colourful art print inspired by the Indian truck art, and clash of incredible colours seen across India.
